Your goal will be to ensure that the site manufacturing & support activities, without interruption, without any facilities shortages and/or any issues thereof. You will achieve 100% compliance to Local legal regulations, Quality, Health Safety & Environment management systems and standards. You are responsible for the management and maintenance of site facilities, buildings and equipment(s) (hardware & software).

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Works cross functionally to develop and implement a strategic Facilities road-map and annual operating plan which is a competitive advantage to Mondelēz. Partner with internal & external stakeholders and service providers to define and meet Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability, Engagement goals. Establish a strong governance to review & control Operational performance and continuous Improvement plan to deliver against best in class both internally and externally.

  • Lead and be accountable that Building Maintenance program, Facilities maintenance program capabilities, including maintenance repairs & overall operations are in place. Accountable to insure adherence to business continuity plan, manufacturing standards government regulations are understood by all employees/services providers at the site, regularly reviewed and monitored for effective implementation.

  • Provide leadership, coaching to Facilities team towards implementation of IL6S-Integrated Lean 6 sigma ways of working: delivering zero breakdowns via preventive/predictive maintenance strategies and technical mastery of maintenance and operation teams; PM (Progressive Maintenance) Pillar, and CBM (condition based monitoring), Visual controls & tools Mgmt., Lubrication mgmt. & Calibration of equipment(s) etc.

  • Role model Values and principles through effective coaching, mentoring and builds skills capability across the Plant technical/engineering team to engage with latest modern practices. Have a clear people succession and resource plan, for the asset & technology population , identifying and implementing critical levers to attract, retain and develop critical talent

  • Interface with key stakeholders internally and externally to develop and maintain effective relationships, align priorities in order to deliver the company objectives, and goals.

  • Strong operational & manufacturing leadership experience in CPG industry with experience in TPM-Total productive maintenance, 5s, LEAN, 6 sigma tools and concepts, Safety & GMP standards

  • An Engineer with a strong financial & business acumen, project management skills and Knowledge of industrial maintenance and manufacturing equipment, PM (Progressive Maintenance) expertise, Spare parts management, SAP PM module end user knowledge, Technology & Engineering automation basics.

  • Excellent communication (verbal & written), coaching, and leadership skills in a team-based environment. Demonstrated abilities in Analytics, problem solving and team building

Job scope:

  • This position is accountable for planning, leading, organizing Technical function, supporting productivity projects, expansion plans, NPD Projects and special projects which will directly impact plant productivity, capacity, product quality and safety/ health/ Environmental improvement

  • Ensure all plant equipment, facilities and installation comply with statutory regulations Company policy and Mondelez International Engineering standards to provide a safe working environment

  • Other responsibilities include proactive optimization of cost-effective maintenance reliability (M& in support of L 6 S and business deliverables, as well as providing technical training opportunities for all associates in order to increase skill and knowledge basis

Main responsibilities:

  • Proactively evaluates & leads refinement of overall equipment reliability plans, strategies and equipment performance.

  • Manages overall facility maintenance & infrastructure to ensure the most effective use of resources & funding balanced for both short & long-range plans.

  • Manages maintenance budget

  • Optimizes cost-effective maintenance & reliability for the line/plant. Ensures necessary skill sets are developed, refined & maintained

  • Supports the plant teams in reviewing/developing operating standards, line speeds, Global Efficiency (GE), etc, to identify and capitalize on improvement opportunities.

  • Coaches, mentors, holds accountable & develops M&R staff.

  • Coordinate equipment and building facility maintenance activities at the plant, including capital projects with support of corporate engineering to maximize equipment reliability, efficiency and cost.

  • Ensure that all maintenance activities about the adherence to/implementation of people safety and risk management regulations and procedures, according to the company policies and FM Global recommendations, are executed

  • Champion GE improvement initiatives, selection, implementation and monitoring of equipment reliability improvement plans.

  • Purchase, expedite and install equipment with or without outside contractors

  • Accountable for assessing performance of direct reports and provide formal feedback on shift technicians, equipment owners and core team members

  • Accountable for execution of relevant projects within assigned areas

  • Responsible for assessing, collaborating and making decisions on maintenance issues of assigned area

  • Leads and/or participates in IL6S and Kaizen activity interacting with all levels of the organization

  • Ensures that basic training modules are assigned and executed correctly with PM staff and enables PM to train AM in assigned modules, interfaces with E&T to execute capability improvement in PM to enable knowledge transfer from PM to AM

  • Coaches, motivates and supports the team to ensure information flow, colleague development, problem-solving, goal setting, and process improvements are completed within expectation

  • Manages the daily operations in Maintenance. Ensures all employees are occupied with meaningful work at a proper rate of productivity.

Job requirement:

  • University Degree in a related discipline

  • At least 8 years of experience in MNC, of which 2 years should be in a managerial role.

  • Previous experience with Proactive Maintenance and other Integrated Lean Six Sigma pillars is an asset

  • Experienced with strong technical knowledge

  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated Leadership Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to develop corporate/business relationships along with keen business acumen and a solid understanding of the maintenance costs

  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills

  • Demonstrate organizational and project management skills

  • Excellent in root cause analysis and risk assessment

  • Ability to interpret drawings, technical manuals, specifications and regulations

  • Creative and innovative in application of maintenance systems
