Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with AgilLink expertise to join a leading talent agency on a temporary basis. This interim role is based in Beverly Hills and requires a highly skilled accounting professional who can hit the ground running to support the agency’s finance team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee general ledger activities, ensuring accurate and timely entries.

  • Reconcile bank accounts, income statements, and balance sheet accounts to ensure financial accuracy.

  • Process and manage client payments, supporting talent-related accounting activities.

  • Utilize AgilLink to perform a variety of accounting functions, including reporting, payments, and reconciliation.

  • Prepare financial documents, including profit and loss statements and management reports, as needed.

  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal procedures.

  • Provide support for audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.

  • Analyze financial data and offer recommendations to improve processes or identify efficiencies.

  • Provide backup and assistance for ad-hoc finance projects as directed by management.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.

  • Minimum 5+ years of professional accounting experience, ideally in an entertainment, talent agency, or similar industry.

  • Proficiency with AgilLink is required; strong familiarity with its features and functionality is essential.

  • Solid understanding of GAAP and general accounting practices.

  • Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.) and familiarity with other accounting tools.

  • Keen attention to detail with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
