Overview

We are seeking a skilledDiesel Mechanic with ASC609 Certificationto join our team in Bessemer, AL!

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, including electrical and mechanical systems.

• Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, such as oil changes, lubrications, and inspections.

• Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot complex engine issues.

• Ensure compliance with ASC609 standards and regulations regarding refrigerant handling.

• Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.

• Uphold safety standards and protocols in all repair and maintenance tasks.

• Keep abreast of advancements in diesel engine technology and industry trends.

  Requirements:

• Valid Drivers License and clean driving record - CDL is a plus, but not required.

• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, with ASC609 Certification.

• Paccar experience preferred

• Computer based diagnostic skills with OEM interfaces

• Must have your own tools

• Knowledge of diesel engine components, systems, and operations.

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Commitment to safety protocols and regulations.

• Steel and Aluminum Welding experience is a plus.

• Reefer experience is a plus

• Previous experience repairing/maintaining reefer trucks.
