UL, LLC Laboratory Assistant (Color) in Bentonville, Arkansas

  • Responsible for research of textile and hardlines products and generating color matching reports for Consumer clients.

  • Provides feedback to management regarding laboratory procedures and testing issues.

  • Compares items pulled from clients to establish standards on file

  • Demonstrate ability to concentrate on the job at hand

  • Ability to learn to use precision equipment under little supervision

  • Working alone producing results for analysis

  • Basic functionality of Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and Word)

  • Ability to work under strict deadlines, some overtime may be requested

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Work habits must include attention to detail, accuracy, and orderliness

  • Communication skills, written and verbal among team members (including internal customers), should be excellent

  • Work within company laboratory to prepare samples, conduct testing, and document results

  • Understanding of product standards, specifications, and test methods

  • Higher Secondary Education.

  • Effective communication skills and ability to interact with customers required.

  • Desire to work in a team-oriented environment.

  • Ability to use Microsoft Office suite is a must.

  • Must pass Farnsworth-Munsell 100 Hue Test with Super Discrimination (score of 16 or lower).

  • Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday in Bentonville, AR required.
