Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.

• 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science Engineering.

• Experience building consumer electronics.

• Experience building consumer electronics and other open-source community contributions.

• Experience with Linux kernel backports, branch management, platform/component, embedded systems.

• Experience with firmware, device driver development, and debugging.

• Develop and release new versions of ChromeOS.

• Deliver new kernel releases for mature platforms and devices.

• Work with Linux to upstream bug fixes, report crashes, and prevent regressions.

• Develop and maintain infrastructure to enable and accelerate kernel rebase and upgrade projects.

• Collaborate with other platform teams to triage and resolve issues.
