Wells Fargo Associate Securities Operations Representative in Bengaluru, India
About this role:
Wells Fargo Investment Operations is seeking for a candidate to perform various back office or middle office functions that includes Reconciliation and Liaison services within Advisory Operations. The Team is responsible for the reconciliation of advisory accounts on the APL trading platform and providing liaison services for the money managers and branches in regards to all communication surrounding cash flows and account maintenance.
In this role, you will:
Primary Responsibilities;
Is responsible for performing a variety of operational tasks for highly complex securities or cash related transactions or processes that require basic knowledge of unit functions and systems. Duties may include:
Support a variety of operational tasks for simple or routine securities
Identify ways to improve the overall process
Perform routine duties such as processing, reconciling transaction and research inquires
Regularly receive direction from supervisor and escalate issues to more experienced roles
Review less complex documents
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Interact with internal customers
Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Required Qualifications:
6+ months of Security Operations experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
6+ months of securities/Custody/Investment banking experience
Basic understanding of Securities market
Understanding Trade life cycle
Understands the basic capital markets and various products like what a mutual fund is, bonds, what is a stock/equity, etc.
Attention to detail and comprehension skills
Commerce Graduate / MBA / higher degree in financial field.
Desired Qualification:
Perform Reconciliation of advisory accounts and ensure accurate maintenance on the systems by adhering to the agreed service levels.
Understanding the products and severity of the process which involves dealing with highly sensitive accounts.
Additional functions of receiving notifications of deposits and/or withdrawals of cash and securities.
Handling escalated requests requiring clarification & research to provide an accurate resolution.
Liaising with portfolio managers regarding cash flows and active cash management
Interaction with Financial Advisors, Investment Managers, Business counterparts to gather process/product related information.
Perform the above assigned tasks independently and seek assistance in a
timely manner.
Candidate should have basic accounting Knowledge
Good problem solving and analytical skills and numerical skills
Typing Skills / Good Communication (Read / Write / Speak)
Working Hours: 6:30pm to 3:30am
