Position Summary

Will be trained to operate heading machines of various types and sizes. Training includes the set up, operation and routine machine maintenance. The Machine Operator will be required to follow all Quality Standards and maintain production requirements. THIS IS A 2ND SHIFT POSITION.

Responsibilities

• Setup, adjust, and operate equipment as trained in a safe manner

• Read and understand blue prints

• Properly use gages and other quality tools to ensure production of good parts

• Perform first piece inspections, monitor the quality of all parts, and make adjustments to maintain quality standards

• Perform minor preventative maintenance, complete all required tracking documents

• Work with tooling and maintenance personnel to maximize production efficiencies

• Perform the duties required to record data for SPC, ISO/IATF 16949 documentation

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Ability to perform basic math

• Good mechanical aptitude

• HSD/GED or equivalent experience

• Previous machine operation a plus

• Previous Heading experience preferred
