Position summary T-Mobile is America's supercharged Un-carrier, delivering an advanced 4G LTE and transformative nationwide 5G network that will offer reliable connectivity for all. Senior Engineers, Software located in Bellevue, WA will develop cost-effective information technology solutions by creating new and modifying existing software applications. Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Analyze JIRA stories, research technical requirements, and document the requirements in the stories for junior developers and contractors. Conduct continuous integration and continuous deployment to test the application in all environments. Utilize Splunk dashboard to represent PIER data in tables and graph and monitor PIER application logs. Code, test, and debug JIRA stories. Develop efficient, high-quality UI and API solutions based on customer requirements for PIER. Implement complex software applications and APIs with full competency. Work as a technical lead for the PIER CR team, coordinating with Interface Design Architects for meeting accessibility standards at code level. Conduct end-to-end software process development of feature including requirements gathering, development, and automated testing. Collaborate with other cross-functional teams for timely, on-point software delivery. Perform functional testing of software to ensure software is performing appropriately and at optimal level. Identify and escalate issues that impact project performance. Telecommuting is permitted, but applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance. Skill requirements: Utilizing Core and Advanced Java Development and its ecosystems to create solutions for change request and ticketing meeting customer requirements. Utilizing Java collections and algorithms for optimizations to ensure solutions coded for change request and ticketing are efficient and not detrimental to change request and ticketing performance. Using NodeJS and Angular/VueJS to ensure front-end server side Javascript code is written per requirements for change request and ticketing. Using Springboot for configuring Java code as needed for building web applications for change request and ticketing. Working with Git Hub, Bitbucket, JIRA, Bamboo and Splunk tools for support of code development activities including story tracking, deployment, source control and log management. Utilizing Camunda Modeler and Kafka required for Java based applications for modeling BPM flows, creating proxies for PIER API's using APIGEE, and conducting API messaging as needed by change request and ticketing. Experience and education requirements: PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, or related, and 3 years of relevant work experience. ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, or related, and 5 years of relevant work experience.
