Your Role at Baxter This is where your work saves lives. The R&D department at Baxter's Ambulatory Cardiac Monitoring division is currently seeking a Software Engineer, Algorithmsto join the team at our Bellevue, WA headquarters. This is a hybrid role that allows a flexible schedule for remote and onsite work. The right person will have a strong curiosity about how things work, likes learning, and does data or software projects on their own. This person will leverage their energies and talents to support algorithm development, AI and classic, for research and development of Baxter's ECG monitoring devices and to help support and develop tools that facilitate this work. What You'll Be Doing Extend our algorithm group's SW tool palette with additional features, ease of use workflow, and full integration among tools where applicable. Propose and develop new tools where needed. Fully document and test. Collaborate with engineers and clinicians to strategize improvements for AI and classic algorithm performance. Work with other algorithm engineers to research, prototype and test selected areas of algorithm development. Participate in product development for select algorithms, including user needs and requirements discovery, design, implementation and test. Fully document assigned areas. What You'll Bring BS degree or higher in Computer Science or Data Science Demonstrable full life-cycle experience developing algorithms and support software, including thorough documentation and testing. Proficient with Python and C/C++ Must be able to marshal and organize data based on multiple attributes Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines Self-motivated and able to work independently Strong oral/written communication skills Strong attention to detail Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills Other Company Info Baxter is committed to supporting the needs for flexibility in the workplace.
