Description
NA Ops Sustainability Strategy & Execution (SSE) is looking for a Senior Program Manager to set the foundation for a standardized employee charging approach and strategy across all NA Operations sites. In this role, the Senior Program Manager, Employee Charging will develop a short- and long-term strategy for employee charging deployment across facilities, determine employee charging hardware specifications with key stakeholder teams, and work cross-functionally across NA support and operations teams to ensure alignment in approach, providing regular report outs to senior leadership. The individual will create project plans, develop processes, coordinate across organizations, drive execution, and communicate to senior management on status, risks, and process/product changes.
The Senior Program Manager, Employee Charging will need an individual with exceptional abilities to work through ambiguity, experience delivering results while balancing customer needs, data analysis, project and stakeholder management, and internal/external communications.
Key job responsibilities
Manage full lifecycle complex cross-functional programs with impact across multiple organizations
Work closely with partner teams and global stakeholders in and outside of the organization to deliver, source, allocate, and coordinate resources
Develop decision making models or decision trees with data-driven rationale
Analyze data and drive improvements that are quantified with metrics
Work autonomously in an ambiguous environment
Seek to understand business problems, scaling factors and reasons behind leadership decisions
Identify and mitigate risks
Work with program managers, business leaders, and executive team to communicate impact critical business initiatives
Develop, implement, and govern Key Performance Indicators (KPI) reporting, providing visibility to the milestones, and performance
Set-up mechanisms to scale sustainability solutions and pilots at NA Operations facilities
Establish a structure to scale charging across the network
Deep dive technologies available and determine a go-forward strategy for those technologies
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
5+ years of program or project management experience
Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
Experience working in a matrixed organization
Experience in transportation, transportation planning, employee commute, and/or EV charging
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of driving process improvements experience
Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
