Your role at Baxter: The Principal Business Analyst for Cardiology will be responsible for supporting multiple large-scale projects concurrently related to software, data infrastructure and process development, including development of requirements, testing plans and process documents. What you'll be doing: * Working with Revenue Cycle Management, Product Management, Finance and IT ensures that needs of key stakeholders are analyzed and clearly specified. * Collects, analyzes and verifies requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards. * Translates conceptual user requirements into functional requirements / technical specifications in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team. * Creates process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team. * Working with the business leaders, develop process documentation and work instructions. * Executes testing plan to identify functionality or data issues prior to implementation. * Supports the technical team with preparation of documents for regulatory compliance and implementation. * Support the project manager in completing project plan tasks, managing team / stakeholder expectations for timeline and deliverables, drafting stakeholder communications and meeting project milestones. * Other duties, as assigned. What you'll be doing: * Solid understanding of software development methodologies and process * Proven experience building, maintaining and leveraging strategic and cross-functional relationships through effective communication and collaborative leadership. * Proven track record of analytical ability, operational excellence and detail orientation. * Strong collaboration, stakeholder management and communication skills-including verbal, written, negotiation and overcoming objections. * Advanced analytical and creative problem-solving skills. * Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail. * Extremely organized and highly self-motivated and directed. * Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure. * Enjoys working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Education and/or Experience: * BS/BA degree required with focus on Software Engineering, Project Management, Business Improvement, Finance or Business * 10+ years required experience with Business Analyst / Project Analyst roles with demonstrable evidence of successfully partnering with customers and achieving shared goals and outcomes. * Prior experience working on projects for software development and integrations. * Healthcare and/or medical device experience is preferred.
