Role Overview

As a Build/Release Automation Engineer you will be part of the Build Team in the IGT PlayDigital's Sports Betting development center.

You will be gradually introduced, via continuous training and support from your team lead and all other team members to all aspects of build and release processes of our Sports Betting products, from setting up continuous integration/build infrastructure, creating product builds and packages to developing scripts and systems that automate build/release processes.

As part of your daily activities, you will closely collaborate with various engineering teams such as development teams, deployment, and QA teams as well as with project managers.

Build/Release Automation Engineer role brings highly dynamic and engaging working environment, never-ending stream of technical challenges and solutions as well as opportunities to learn, grow professionally and enhance our production processes by automating them using broad range of technologies and tools.

What You’ll Do

Create builds and installation packages for company’s several software products.

Setup and maintain build servers, artifact repositories and version control systems.

Develop and maintain scripts, tools, services, and applications for build/release process automation.

Closely collaborate with many teams and roles, both technical and non-technical, during all phases of build/release process

About You

Programming knowledge in some of dynamic or static programming languages.

Basic knowledge of server and desktop operating systems, computer networking and PC hardware.

Ability to quickly adapt and learn new technologies, complex systems, and processes.

Ability to work as a reliable team member, with a minimum amount of supervision.

Good written and spoken English.

Nice to have

Experience in some of the following technologies:

Python programming language

Version control systems such as Git, TFVC, Subversion, etc.

Continuous integration systems such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps Build, Jenkins, etc.

Artifact repositories such as Nexus, Artifactory, etc.
