Description:

Dispense medications according to the prescription from doctors, etc.

Maintain a current knowledge of all medications.

Maintain a current knowledge of pharmacy legal issues.

Communicate with pharmacy staff about matters concerning drug usage, drug interactions, and refunds.

Help perform drug testing

At least 5 years of experience in the retail pharmacy setting is preferred.

At least 5 years of experience in medication therapy management (MTM) is preferred.

At least 5 years of experience in third-party rejections preferred.

Pharmacist in Charge experience is required.

Immunization certification is required.

Exceptional communication skills are required.

Experience with Pioneer Rx and/or Match Rx computer software is preferred.
