Description We are in search of a Staff Accountant to join our team based in BEAVERTON, Oregon. As a Staff Accountant, you will be instrumental in managing and analyzing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity in the Non-Profit industry.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and analyze financial transactions using Sage Intacct

• Process and maintain accurate revenue entries for various campaigns

• Review and enter data from different lead sources such as Fidelity, Stripe, PayPal into Intacct

• Ensure appropriate revenue categorization and alignment with GAU fields

• Handle bank reconciliations, general ledger and journal entries

• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

• Conduct month-end close procedures

• Work across multiple data platforms comfortably

• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. Requirements • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field or role, such as Staff Accountant or similar accounting position.

• Proficiency in accounting software, including but not limited to NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and Sage Intacct.

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes is mandatory.

• Demonstrated skills in performing bank reconciliations.

• Familiarity with maintaining the General Ledger and preparing Journal Entries.

• Expertise in handling Month End Close procedures.

• Prior experience in or familiarity with the non-profit sector is beneficial but not mandatory.

• An Accounting degree or similar field of study is required.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
