Nike Senior Product Line Manager, Women's Licensed Basketball Apparel Beaverton, Oregon

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

In this role, you’ll be working with your direct product management counterparts, including the Sr PLM on WNBA. The WNBA league will be one of your main points of contact and you’ll work with them directly along with Sports Marketing. You’ll be working cross-functionally with Design, Development, Merchandising and PIA teammates. You will work with footwear teammates to maximize head to toe connectivity as well as GM/Business partners to help develop strategies for holistic concepts.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

This role will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the product creation process and will require:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training

  • A minimum of 3 years directly relevant work experience

  • Immense Passion for Women’s Sports Consumer and crafting outstanding product for their everyday needs

  • Ability to take initiative and seek solutions

  • Leading a cross-functional team by setting clear priorities and expectations, while fostering collaboration. Takes initiative to drive strategy and influence of key partners.

  • Aligning merchandising, brand marketing, sports marketing, design, tech development, operations, and Product Creation Center partners to lead creating and delivering, in full and on-time, one of our most high-profile apparel product lines at the company

  • Positively influencing internal and external partners, including tracking progress of and gaining asset approval on-time

  • Leads with a positive collective spirit and creates a ‘one team’ environment across functions

  • Ability to operate effectively even when the way forward is not clear and to take an ambiguous situation and create a clear path forward for the cross-functional team

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

As our Senior Product Line Manager – Women’s Basketball Apparel, you will oversee all facets of the product creation process for the WNBA, from brief to delivery. This role specifically will manage assortments such as the Authentics Line, All Star, and Off-Court Fanwear. This role will also serve as the connection point between on-court and retail apparel so a background in profitable product lines is preferred.

  • Serve as strategic voice of the WNBA Product Management team

  • We are looking for someone that can establish, maintain, and cultivate key relationships with leagues, teams, and assets and recognize consumer and competitive trends in key markets.

  • The ideal candidate will be able to leverage athlete, consumer, and marketplace insights and translate them into impactful product solutions that resonate.

  • This candidate will lead and collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver and showcase the most innovative and high-performance product in the industry for athletes, as well as deliver a compelling retail assortment for consumers.

  • The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the uniform creation process, strong relationships with Nike Sports Marketing, and incredible organizational skills to allow them to manage a breadth of projects on varying timelines.

  • Gathering athlete and consumer insights to define a product strategy that serves elite athletes, as well as consumers

  • Analyzing current business across promo and retail, then creating strategy for and successful implementation of the lineplan
