Nike Product Line Manager II, Women's Basketball Apparel Beaverton, Oregon
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
In this role, you’ll be working with your direct product management counterparts, including the PLM II on WNBA. You’ll also be working cross-functionally with Design, Development, Merchandising and PIA teammates. Sports Marketing and Footwear teams will also be part of your daily connection points.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
This role will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the product creation process and will require:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training
A minimum of 2 years directly relevant work experience
Immense Passion for Women’s Sports Consumer and crafting outstanding product for their everyday needs
Ability to take initiative and seek solutions
Outstanding attention to detail and organization skills
Excellent project management skills
Collaborative, team-oriented approach
Strong organizational and communication skills
Comfortable in ambiguous situations to find answers
Desire to work through problems with a team
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
As our Product Line Manager II – Women’s Basketball Apparel, you will support the branded basketball business. The ideal candidate will be able to leverage athlete, consumer, and marketplace insights and translate them into impactful product solutions that resonate. This candidate will lead and collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver and showcase the most innovative and high-performance product in the industry for athletes, as well as deliver a compelling retail assortment for consumers.
In this role, you’ll be supporting strategies that help transition consumers from everyday athletes to professional athletes
Your day-to-day activities include systems management, sample management, tool creation and maintenance, lifecycle & roadmap updates, support weekly triad meetings, as well as supporting the Lead and Senior Branded Product Management Peers. You will assist in gathering consumer insights as well as competitive research
The ideal candidate will have strong relationship and organizational skills to allow them to manage a breadth of projects on varying timelines
This role will help to support the team that creates Branded Essentials, Branded Collections, and Signature Athlete apparel
This role will not manage product lines initially, however there could be future opportunities once the foundational skills have been excelled
