JOB PROFILE AND DESCRIPTION To grow and manage the trust and investment business for which First State Bank and Trust acts as the personal representative of an estate, a trustee, or an agent under an investment management arrangement. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Develops new and additional business among prospects and existing trust clients. Advises on and manages client investments. Reviews, understands and interprets trust agreements, wills and other estate planning documents to limit regulatory and legal risk. Regularly communicates with outside advisors and with individual clients to fully understand client s needs and deliver an excellent client experience. On-boards and closes accounts; including asset identification, asset gathering and analysis in a high volume environment. Responds to client inquiries regarding problems and questions while maintaining proper correspondence and legal files. Coordinates with the team to carry out account administration and to deliver financial reporting and planning materials for accounts. Works with the team to develop and strengthen systems and processes to enhance the client experience, achieve account objectives, simplify operations, improve efficiencies, and mitigate risk. Reviews and approves money movement transactions, tax and accounting treatment and confirms authorizations from clients, practice specialists, etc. Ensures beneficiaries are properly notified and that assets are distributed according to terms of wills. Presents seminars on trust and investment topics as opportunities are available. Makes sales presentations to prospective customers Remains current on policy or procedural changes and new product offerings.
