Reviews work methods to ensure compliance to USDA; FNS 501 Program Procedures.

Major duties to include:

• Certify participants and determine their eligibility to receive program services.
• Coordinate and assist warehouse staff with the scheduling and distribution to eligible participants
• Assist with processing USDA food shipments

• Responsible for storage of commodities for this site

   

Will coordinate efforts with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services for determining eligibility and to prevent dual participation.

Will be responsible for the submission of reports required by the USDA to the Program Director

Will assist in providing nutrition education materials to the program participants.

Will be responsible for answering questions and providing information to applicants about certification and the application process.

Will assist with other program administration work as requested.

Will attend training as requested.

Performs other administrative/program duties as requested by the Program Director or USDA.
