This will be a hybrid role split between 2 days in the office and 2-3 days working remote.
Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Qualifying subcontractors
Issuing requests for information (RFIs)
Issuing requests for proposals (RFPs)
Preparing subcontract documents and amendments, including identification and inclusion of flow down requirements from the prime contract
Performing commercial evaluations of proposals
Negotiating subcontracts
Issuing properly authorized awards/subcontracts
Resolving subcontractor claims in a timely manner
Handling cradle to grave subcontract management (pre-award to file closeout)
Serving as liaison between subcontractor and project manager
We are seeking someone with a keen eye for detail, excellent time management/prioritization, and a strong customer service focus. **This position will be located in the Chennai, India area. Relocation is not provided.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree and at least one (2) years of directly related subcontracts experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
Federal Government contracts/subcontracts experience.
Proficiency with MS office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications:
Two (2)+ years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Bachelors degree preferred in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or closely related fields
Experience with Deltek (CostPoint)
Experience with commercial and/or defense contracts/subcontracts highly desired
