This position is with the Skype For Business (SFB) Clients team which focuses on communication solutions longevity and enable collaboration with most versatile customers. The team manages the whole suit of clients for the SFB platform which is used across the globe. We are looking for passionate Software Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers working on all SFB clients (mobile, Windows and web).

Responsibilities

• Manage team of talented engineers.

• Work closely with product team on features planning.

• Work closely with infra and partner teams to coordinate work.

• Drive implementation and updates for features for the Skype For Business clients.

• Be responsible of product/feature quality and reliability monitoring and live site support.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

• OR equivalent experience.

• Experience with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.

• Experience with commercial product development with focus on user experiences.

• 2+ years of software engineering management experience.

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

• OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

• OR equivalent experience.
