Chevron Corporation Equipment Controller in Bangalore, India

About the position:

The Asset Data & Information Management (EDM) Equipment Data Management Controller is responsible for ensuring record management best practices are being used to maintain and sustain the integrity and accessibility of compliance, safety, reliability, and integrity related asset data for Chevron’s refining and liquified natural gas (LNG) assets.

This role is a part of the Facilities Designs Engineering team at the Chevron ENGINE Center.

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ensuring record management best practices are being used to maintain and sustain the integrity and accessibility of compliance, safety, reliability, and integrity related asset data

  • Support the Chevron Asset Performance Management processes for Chevron complex facilities

  • Provide governance over SoRs incl. standardized hierarchy management to assure unstructured asset data sync with asset management SoRs

  • Support record keeping, application knowledge and craft field understanding of the record data and information gathered for facility assets. Requires outstanding customer service fostering high level of communication and integration between ADIM and other working groups in all refineries

  • Provide data entry support as required by Chevron facilities to maintain updated records for facility equipment

  • Supports awareness of Operations, Maintenance, and technical data management functions necessary to fulfill Add/Change/Delete requirements including taxonomy and naming convention aligned to Equipment Data Management standards

  • Capable of delivering basic training to end users on Asset Data Information Management process

  • Work collaboratively supporting multiple functions including Operations, Maintenance and Technical resources

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience within Operations and/or Maintenance in complex process facilities, petroleum refinery process technologies and/or LNG facilities

  • Demonstrated experience relative to Equipment Data Management within refining processes and operations, including strategy and commercial integration will be highly regarded

  • Ability to drive change when faced with large-scale change (business turn-around, major transformation, acquisition, divestitures) is preferred

Chevron ENGINE supports global operations, supporting business requirements across the world. Accordingly, the work hours for employees will be aligned to support business requirements. The standard work week will be Monday to Friday. Working hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm or 1:30pm to 10:30pm.
