Vontier Device Management Lead in Bangalore, India

This role reports to the Platform Lead-End Uses Compute, and is located in Bangalore, India.

You will collaborate closely with our global Vontier teams and Operating Companies, managing day-to-day activities through our systems. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Device Management, you will work closely with infrastructure and product team leads, architects, and enhance the digital workspace experience using Intune, Jamf, Public Cloud, and Microsoft Office 365 tools and technology. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining Modern Device Management solutions such as Intune and Windows 365. This involves leveraging technologies like Windows 10, 11, and Microsoft Office 365 to meet our business needs. You will also drive best practices in Device Management infrastructure tools and technology.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Support day-to-day operations by administering Windows and Mac devices using Intune, Jamf, and Microsoft 365, with hands-on experience in Windows 10/11 devices.

• Hands-on experience in packaging and deploying modern and legacy Win32 applications using modern formats like Intune Win and MSIX.

• Experience in setting up Windows Autopilot enrollment, Endpoint Security (EPS), deployment profiles, and RTP with all OEM devices.

• In-depth knowledge of end-to-end configurations and policies, including expertise in software distribution, deployments, upgrades (MSI, Win 32), Patch Management, Windows as a Service, and Driver Management processes.

• Good knowledge of BitLocker, compliance, conditional access policies, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Identity, and Defender for Cloud.

• Contribute to new builds/migrations, upgrades, and design and implement device security policies.

• Monitor and analyze device health, performance, and security, taking appropriate actions to address issues.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Cloud/Hybrid Cloud Management, onboarding, configuring, and transitioning to the cloud.

• Strong skills in PowerShell scripting, AD users and Group, and Group Policy, including experience with Migration Tools.

• Good knowledge of managing BYOD, CYOD, and Kiosk devices and their restrictions.

• Good understanding and hands-on experience with cloud concepts including Azure Virtualization, Azure Networking, Azure Identity, and Azure Storage.

• Experience in Universal Print, Workplace Cloud, and Ricoh Cloud Printing Solution.

• Good hands-on experience with user profile management products such as Roaming Profiles, Fslogix, and OneDrive.

• Proficient in automating upgrades, migrations, remediation, job reporting tasks using PowerShell CLI scripts, PowerShell, and Batch scripts.

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation such as High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) of system and application configurations and changes.

WHO YOU ARE

• Candidates applying for this position should have at least 5-7 years of experience in developing and supporting Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, Patch Management, Application Deployment, Active Directory, Office 365, etc.

• Understanding of the Microsoft Windows 10 and 11 operating systems, including the Windows registry, win32 and x64 application structure.

• Experience in using Azure AVD, Azure AD, Azure Network, Azure security and Storage and ample experience in configuring and automating the tasks through PowerShell

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication and presentation skills, coupled with excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Solid understanding of quality standards, legislation, ITIL, and best practices.

• Capacity to adapt and prioritize tasks effectively, proficient in gathering and assimilating information.

• Familiarity with industry standards, available technologies, and best practices in security and systems.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Degree in a computer-related field or equivalent work experience.
