Robert Half Project Development Manager in Baltimore, Maryland

Description We are offering an opportunity for a Procurement Manager to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. This role is instrumental in leading the Commercial Property Management Portfolio, managing commercial property assets and vendor relationships, and driving long-term project success. You will be responsible for ensuring the financial viability of the assigned portfolio and serving as a liaison with property managers on various financial and operational matters.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and track general property economic development assets on a day-to-day basis

• Review projects and capital improvement requests, and handle various issues with property stakeholders

• Provide guidance to property managers on operational or facility issues

• Conduct regular assessments of asset portfolios, identifying opportunities for enhancement or divestment

• Maintain weekly records of the performance of portfolio project reports to track overall performance

• Ensure that on-site property managers provide effective day-to-day property management

• Support the management of organizational assets, including but not limited to real estate properties and infrastructure projects

• Analyze financial data related to economic development projects and assets in close collaboration with the finance team

• Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets, ensuring effective utilization of resources

• Supervise project accounting systems to ensure accurate financial reporting

• Develop and implement performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of economic development programs and initiatives

• Regularly assess and analyze performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement

• Prepare comprehensive reports for internal and external stakeholders, highlighting key insights and recommendations

• Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers supporting general commercial real estate property initiatives

• Conduct vendor performance reviews, ensuring adherence to contractual agreements and service level expectations

• Collaborate with procurement teams to negotiate contracts and optimize vendor relationships for cost-effectiveness in the assigned commercial real estate portfolio

• Evaluate and enhance existing processes related to student housing, economic development, asset management, and vendor relationships

• Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements to streamline workflows and increase overall operational effectiveness for the commercial real estate portfolio

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of processes across the organization. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Procurement Manager

• Demonstrated expertise in Asset Management

• Proven experience in Compliance practices

• Strong background in Commercial Real Estate

• Proficiency in Portfolio Management

• Experience in Vendor Management and Vendor Performance

• Solid understanding of Commercial Property Management

• Strong experience in Facilities Management

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite

• Proven skills in Budget Management and Budget Monitoring

• Experience in Real Estate Project Accounting

• Strong negotiation skills, particularly in Contract Negotiations

• PMP Certification is required.
