Job Summary:

The Healthcare Data Analyst will play a crucial role in our finance and data analytics team. This position combines technical expertise of data analysis with practical skills of managing accounts payable processes. The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in revenue cycle management and a deep understanding of healthcare data and financial operations.

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Data Analysis

  • Analyze and interpret healthcare data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to support decision-making processes
  • Collaborate with clinical operations and administrative teams to ensure data accuracy and relevance
  • Conduct data validation and quality checks to maintain data integrity
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to enhance operational efficiency and patient care
  • Utilize extensive experience in revenue cycle management to support data analysis and insights
  • Analyze revenue cycle performance metrics and identify areas for clinical and operational improvement
  • Work closely with Revenue Cycle Director to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement

Accounts Payable

  • Manage and oversee the accounts payable process, including invoice processing, payment disbursement, and vendor management
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments
  • Work with operational leaders to reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all accounts payable activities
  • Collaborate with leaders to optimize accounts payable processes and improve cash flow management

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue cycle management within the mental health industry
  • Proficient in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI)
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable processes
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare billing software
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards
  • Previous clinical experience within the mental or behavioral health industries

Salary Description $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
