Robert Half Grant Coordinator in Baltimore, Maryland

Description

We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Grant Coordinator located in Baltimore, Maryland. The primary responsibilities of this role include proposal preparation, grant compliance, and reporting coordination to generate funding.

Key responsibilities:

• Identify funding opportunities from various sources.

• Prepare and format proposals and letters of interest/inquiry, ensuring they meet the requirements and deadlines.

• Work in collaboration with program managers to determine proposal concepts based on needs, opportunities, and request for proposal (RFP) guidelines.

• Assemble proposal information such as project objectives, deliverables, implementation strategies, timetables, staffing, budget, performance standards, and evaluation methods.

• Edit and revise drafts of proposals, including executive summaries, conclusions, and organization credentials.

• Collaborate with program managers and finance teams to gather information necessary for regular grant reporting as required by all funders.

• Maintain organized records of grant tracking and reporting in shared agency electronic and paper files.

• Develop and maintain grants-related policies and standard operating procedures.

• Coordinate proposal requirements with contributors, communicate proposal status information in review meetings, and identify and communicate risks associated with proposals.

• Evaluate and redesign proposal-writing processes, approach, and coordination to improve results.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a grant coordination role or similar position

• Proficient knowledge of Grants

• Demonstrable experience in Grant Management and Grant Administration

• Proven ability to prepare and submit persuasive grant proposals

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and grant management software

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred
