Under general supervision, the Procurement and Administrative Coordinator provides procurement and contracting support for the Engineering Services Department. This role ensures compliance with corporate policies, timely and accurate purchase order issuance, and seamless communication between vendors and internal teams. The coordinator also performs administrative and clerical tasks to support the department's operations.

salary: $21.99 - $22 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

  • Reviews purchase requisitions for appropriateness and issues purchase orders by due dates.

  • Communicates with internal customers and vendors to minimize supply chain disruptions.

  • Contacts vendors to research products, verify costs, and confirm availability, delivery, and installation dates.

  • Updates item and vendor information in Pathways Material Management (PMM) as needed.

  • Prepares charts, reports, and correspondence for supervisory review; proofreads and makes corrections.

  • Manages phone calls, messages, and inquiries following policies and guest relations practices.

  • Gathers and compiles data, preparing summaries and memoranda for supervisors.

  • Maintains staff calendars and coordinates meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.

  • Assists in preparing materials, agendas, notes, and handouts for meetings.
