Johns Hopkins University Communications Assistant in Baltimore, Maryland
The Department of International Health is seeking a casual Communications Assistant . This is a casual position which assists with editor of weekly Disaster Newsletter for the Center for Humanitarian Health (CHH)
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
Preparing an electronic Disaster Newsletter which provides a review of disaster occurring during the week and the updates on continuing disaster situations, and potential crises situations related to public health in disasters.
Other additional contents include activities of the Center, publication by Center faculty, courses offered by the Center and other humanitarian organizations or agencies and potential job openings in humanitarian health.
There is an established format to be used.
Other duties will include periodic updating to the mailing list.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or graduation equivalent.
Two years related experience.
Additional education may substitute for required experience, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.

Starting Salary Range: $16.00 - $28.50 HRLY ($22.25 HRLY targeted; Commensurate with experience)
