The Department of International Health is seeking a casual Communications Assistant . This is a casual position which assists with editor of weekly Disaster Newsletter for the Center for Humanitarian Health (CHH)

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

• Preparing an electronic Disaster Newsletter which provides a review of disaster occurring during the week and the updates on continuing disaster situations, and potential crises situations related to public health in disasters.

• Other additional contents include activities of the Center, publication by Center faculty, courses offered by the Center and other humanitarian organizations or agencies and potential job openings in humanitarian health.

• There is an established format to be used.

• Other duties will include periodic updating to the mailing list.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or graduation equivalent.

• Two years related experience.

• Additional education may substitute for required experience, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
