Assistant/Associate Professor:The Department of Family and Community Medicineat theUniversity of Maryland School of Medicineis seeking a full-time Clinician-Educator, with interests in teaching medical students and residents and providing clinical care at our robust urban University Family Medicine practice serving a diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will share the philosophy of serving the community and supporting the academic mission of the department and of the residency program. The faculty member will provide clinical oversight for residents and work closely with the undergraduate and graduate medical education teams to provide clinical education to students and residents in Family Medicine while developing a clinical practice at our downtown Baltimore location. They will also participate in departmental educational programs, providing didactic teaching to medical students and residents based on areas of interest and expertise. Physicians will be expected to provide broad-scope medical care. Expected salary range for Assistant Professors is $209,000 (min) and $317,051 (max). The referenced salary range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. This salary range may not include all components of the Family Medicine faculty compensation program or pay from participation in Family Medicine’s variable compensation program. The referenced salary range represents the minimum (25%) and maximum (90%) salaries for this position and is based on the University of Maryland School of Medicine’s good faith belief at the time of posting. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range.
