Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, the Inside Sales Representative’s primary responsibilities are to work closely with Regional, Strategic, and OEM Sales teams to drive growth and deliver an exceptional experience to our customers within North America.

The Inside Sales Representative must be knowledgeable on HID Global’s PACS portfolio, responsive, and able to assist customers in product selection, pricing, and delivery details, as well as help guide the customer with any post-sale inquiries.

As our Inside Sales Representative you’ll support HID’s success by:

  • Sells products to new and current customers, increasing sales and meeting team sales quotas.

  • Performs lead follow up from Advertising and trade shows.

  • Performs pre-sales qualifications and provides opportunities for the prospective clients to the Regional, Strategic, or OEM sales teams as appropriate.

  • Builds and manages the sales pipeline by entering all communication notes, commitments, and sales opportunities in SalesForce.

  • Performs sales activities and negotiates/closes business, passing orders to customer service for processing.

  • Independently creates product awareness.

  • Assists management with devising plans and strategies for the market.

  • Responds to prospective customers to determine product needs and performs introductory sales presentations to match company's products with identified needs.

  • Remains knowledgeable of company's products to facilitate sales efforts.

  • Provides follow-up with customers and prospects to ensure customer satisfaction with products provided.

  • Responsible for responding to requests for information or requests for quotes from Web site visitors, email and phone contacts within assigned territory.

  • Listens and probes to understand clients' needs and is capable of communicating these effectively.

  • Is proactive in attitude and willing to learn new processes and procedures, contributing to the development of the position.

  • Takes responsibility for all actions and resolving open issues selecting and using available HID Global resources.

    Your Experience and Education include:

  • Associate degree or equivalent training and experience in sales, territory sales or customer service preferred.

  • Minimum 2 years overall experience

  • Minimum 2 years sales experience in the Access Control Marketplace preferred.

  • Proven & verifiable track record of successful quota achievement.
