ABOUT THE Division General descriptionWe are looking for motivated and self-driven Systems Administrators to join our Linux team. Your day will be anything but routine as a member of this team. You will be working with traditional and hyperconverged server technologies, virtualization platforms, as well as Authentication and Access Control systems. You will help maintain, document, and improve internal IT services and policies. This teams contributions will harden systems to meet the highest security standards and best practices. Work HoursMust be able to work an eight-hour schedule between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm, 40-hour week, Monday Friday with occasional work schedule variance when necessary. Five (5) years of experience in RedHat Linux Server environment. Three (3) years of experience troubleshooting server hardware, software, application performance monitoring, and capacity planning tools. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or Management Information Systems. In this role you will:Architecture Research, develop, and document operating procedures for technical support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and systems administration techniques. Coordinates, plans, and schedules the installation of new or revised systems, and define business process requirements. Coordinates projects that cross functional agency systems, and other state entities that require planning and scheduling during project development and implementation.
