Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

Program Lead:

  • Apply TRIP standard practices, protocols, techniques, methods, procedures, and instructions in performing implementation and practice supports.

  • Develop and support community outreach and education activities to raise awareness and implement evidence-informed programs and supports available.

  • Collect, synthesize, and utilize data and literature to identify areas for improvement, ensuring confidentiality and ethical handling of sensitive information.

  • Assist faculty, trainers, and community partners in designing and delivering trauma-informed training, including distance learning modules.

  • Coordinate the development and implementation of trauma-responsive practices.

  • Maintain project timelines, set up meetings, distribute updates, and ensure smooth program operations.

  • Provide administrative support as needed, including learning management system (LMS) issues such as:

  • Troubleshoot technical issues.

  • Track credentialing progress and run evaluation reports.

  • Assist in developing training curriculums and manuals.

  • Support LMS users with account assistance.

  • Collaborate with other Kempe Center teams to enhance program impact.

  • Manage a feedback mechanism to gather participant insights and program effectiveness.

  • Assist in budget tracking and resource allocation for program initiatives.

  • Prepare and maintain documentation related to program development and training sessions.

  • Conduct regular follow-ups with participants to assess ongoing needs and progress.

  • Ensure program projects are on track and deliverables are met on time and efficiently.

Implementation Specialist:

  • Apply best practices to support implementation efforts utilizing implementation science approaches such as exploration, installation, and operational processes for trauma-informed practices.

  • Build and maintain partnerships with community stakeholders, including government agencies, schools, and service providers.

  • Provide training, technical assistance, and coaching for local implementing sites virtually and on-site across the state.

  • Develop and adapt evidence-based interventions to fit the unique needs of diverse populations.

  • Lead community outreach and education efforts to promote mental health support and trauma-informed care.

  • Ensure all program initiatives are aligned with the overarching systemic justice and rooted in trauma principles.

  • Create and support practice enhancements. Develop and implement enhancements to ensure the effectiveness and sustainability of evidence-informed practices.

  • Support the adaptation and augment evidence-based programs to fit the unique characteristics of the target population or community. This may involve tailoring the trauma-responsive in-school intervention or adding to it, for cultural, demographic, or logistical considerations.

  • Overall, use judgment and complex problem-solving strategies in selecting or creating solutions to implementation challenges, continuously improving implementation processes and documentation.

  • Ensure all established work and innovation are developed and implemented through a culturally informed lens and appropriate for diverse communities and clientele.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, human services, non-profit management, social policy, public health, or a related field.

  • 3 or more years of experience working with implementers of evidence-informed practices in education, human services, non-profit management, social policy, public health, or a related field.*

  • 3 or more years' clinical experience with a diverse clientele.*

  • 3 years of experience implementing trauma-responsive practices.*

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in social work, psychology, human services, non-profit management, social policy, public health, or a related field.

  • 2 or more years of prior experience with the Trauma Responsive Implementation and Practice program, PCIT, and/or other trauma-responsive programs.

  • 2 or more years of school counseling experience.

  • 3 or more years as a Licensed Professional Counselor.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay focused in a remote setting.

  • Strong relationship-building and inclusivity skills.

  • Strategic thinking to develop and implement outcome-driven plans.

The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking applications for a Program & Implementation Lead. This part-time (0.8 FTE) University Staff position will support the Kempe Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect. The Lead will provide support for the Trauma-Responsive Implementation and Practice (TRIP) Program. The TRIP Program collaborates with schools, judicial systems, child welfare, healthcare, and mental health agencies to implement evidence-based and trauma-informed practices. The program integrates key principles such as safety, trust, collaboration, empowerment, and cultural responsiveness to create sustainable trauma-informed systems.This hybrid position will support the implementation, dissemination, and intermediary work of TRIP at The Kempe Center. This role requires collaboration with diverse stakeholders, including community organizations, educational institutions, service providers, policymakers, and potential funding agencies to enhance trauma-informed care across multiple sectors. This position will serve as a critical liaison, fostering collaboration and ensuring effective implementation of evidence-informed interventions in varied community settings, specifically in school settings. This position requires the ability to interface in diverse settings in the community across the state.The Kempe Center houses multiple intermediaries that oversee the implementation of evidence-informed programs. This position will primarily interface with the Trauma-Responsive Implementation and Practice (TRIP) program leading the trauma-responsive in-school intervention implementation, adaptation, and dissemination. Work is performed fully independently.

  • this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 2 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings.
