Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking two Full Time Clinical Dietitians at WellStar MCG, a 517-bed adult hospital and 154-bed Children’s Hospital in Augusta, GA.

Position 1: General inpatient Dietitian

Position 2: CVICU inpatient Dietitian

WellStar MCG is a Level 1 Trauma academic hospital with 68 adult critical care beds (Trauma, MICU, SICU, Neurology ICU and CVICU). There are lots of opportunities for growing your career in a supportive environment! RD's have order writing privileges!

What You'll Do

• Provide nutritional care for adult inpatients: Position 1: med/surg, surgical step-down, and oncology Position 2: CVICU, CVICU step-down, and med/surg

• Educate healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses Perform quality improvement

• initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test tray

• Work one weekend day per month, providing hospital-wide coverage

• Mentor dietetic interns

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire

Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
