ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus will be on supporting our wider market strategy, delivering exceptional customer service and creative thinking to your portfolio.

This role involves you ensuring our customers have the right product to suit their needs. You’ll support the identification of new opportunities, customer leads, and pitch to prospective customers. The expectation of this role is 2-3 days a week in our Albany office on the North Shore, with the remainder focussing on customer calls across Auckland and Northland.

Key Responsibilities:

Key Account Management

• Establish productive, professional relationships with key accounts

• Build key account business plans with regular performance reviews

• Identify new opportunities and develop strategies to commercialise

• Lead new product launches to our Locksmith & Retrofit customer base

• Coordinate and lead trade shows, conferences, expos and other similar events

• Monthly inventory forecasting

Sales Representation

Provide technical and sales support to existing products and introduce new products to locksmith customers.

• Develop and implement regular call cycle

• Provide guidance and support to customers for resolving issues

• Contribute to new product development and specification projects

• Deliver customer product training

• Gather, analyse, and provide feedback on market and customer trends

• Maintain project/opportunity information utilising our CRM

ABOUT YOU

We are seeking a dynamic, proactive individual with a growth mindset. You should be highly motivated, results-oriented, and self-aware, while also being a collaborative team player. Strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of customers are essential for this role.

Furthermore, you will have demonstrated:

• 2+ years’ experience in head office key account management or similar roles, ideally within a related industry.

• 5+ years’ experience in sales, marketing, or product roles, ideally within a related industry

• CRM software experience

• Negotiation and influencing skills

• Strong Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint knowledge

• Great communication and presentation skills
