Incumbent serves as 1st Shift Housekeeper for Sunny Meadows, responsible for maintaining cleanliness of the home and assisting co-workers and residents.

DUTIES: Checks on residents, making sure they are showered, clean-shaven, and ready for the day. Ensures residents get to work on time. Cleans various areas, including bathrooms, shower rooms, and residents rooms. Washes windows on doors. Gathers clothes and washes residents laundry. Schedules and takes residents to appointments. Prepares activities for residents. Assists Head Cook get breakfast and lunch plates out in a timely manner, rolls silverware, washes dishes, and sets up tables for next meal. Performs seasonal duties, including mowing. Performs related duties as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITY: Incumbent performs standard, recurring duties with priorities determined by supervisor. Assignments are guided by broad policies and/or general objectives. Incumbent establishes procedures and performance standards and interprets policies and refers to supervisor when interpretations of polices are thought necessary. Incumbent reports directly to Director.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Incumbent performs duties in a residential home and outside, including working with or near chemicals, fumes, dust, dirt, and/or odors, working in extreme hot/cold temperatures, walking on uneven terrain, and working in a noisy environment. Incumbent may be exposed to potentially irate/hostile individuals.
