Job Title: Warehouse Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operator to support our warehouse operations. You will be responsible for loading and unloading freight, ensuring the accuracy of shipments, and performing data entry tasks. Additionally, you will assist in assembling products and material handling. This role requires mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight onto and off of open flatbed trucks.

• Work with truck drivers to ensure products are properly strapped down or removed.

• Enter data and orders into the computer after unloading equipment.

• Perform final touch-ups to freight being sent out and orders.

• Handle materials and assist the warehouse with material movement using a forklift.

• Pack, seal, label, and prepare materials for shipping.

• Load materials onto truck trailers, ensuring optimal delivery sequence.

• Verify that the correct items are placed on trucks.

• Stage loads for full truck and LTL shipments.

• Close production work orders as needed.

• Perform assembly work as required.

• Pick parts and products for the truck.

• Collect and organize items ordered by customers and prepare them for shipment.

• Operate equipment to collect, deliver, and package goods.

• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Essential Skills

• 1 year of sit-down forklift experience.

• Mechanical aptitude.

• Attention to detail.

• Ability to wear steel toe boots.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in material handling is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
