Events Program Manager

Estimated Duration: 6 months

Work Location: Atlanta, US

Work Schedule: Mostly remote, but must be in the Atlanta area

Pay Rate: $23.10 - $68.05 per hour

Project Overview

As Waymo expands into new markets (like Atlanta), we need to track, manage, and prepare for large events (concerts, protests, sporting events, etc.) that occur in the territory to mitigate risk and improve the rider experience.

Overall Responsibilities

Manage Waymo’s operational process for supporting large events across multiple markets.

Top Daily Responsibilities

  • Manage the weekly event review process for the designated market.

  • Identify highly attended, recurring, and/or disruptive large events in Waymo markets, analyzing trends and patterns from previous events.

  • Collaborate across teams to develop mitigation strategies for events.

  • Create detailed plans based on event type.

  • Optimize the event management process for scalability.

  • Manage retrospectives.

Pay Details: $23.00 to $68.00 per hour
