Job Title: Product Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a Product Project Manager to join our team in the person, GA. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage the full cycle of new product introduction within the Water Heater Division. This site is a leading global manufacturer of heating, cooling, and water heating equipment. This is a hybrid role with three dedicated days in the office during business hours.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full cycle of new product introduction within the Water Heater Division.

  • Oversee project management processes using methodologies such as waterfall, agile, or stage-gate.

  • Utilize project management tools to track and manage project progress.

  • Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful product development and launch.

  • Ensure data management and accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure product quality and timely delivery.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with manufactured or assembled products.

  • Formal project management experience using waterfall, agile, or stage-gate methodologies.

  • Proficiency with project management tools, including Microsoft Project.

  • Experience in HVAC, automotive, or manufacturing environments.

  • Experience with new product development and introduction.

  • PMP certification.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business management, engineering, or a related field.

  • At least 2+ years of experience with the New Product Development Process for manufactured products.

  • At least 2+ years of experience with project and data management.

  • Preferred experience in sales, marketing, HVAC/water heating, appliances, and automotive industries.

  • At least 5 years of experience in consumer goods manufacturing or a related environment with a focus on product development and launches.

  • Engineering or marketing history with industry experience preferred.

Work Environment

This is a hybrid role with three days a week in the office at the person HQ and Innovation Center. The office operates Monday through Friday during business hours.
