We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Product Support and Logistics Division as a Logistics Operations Manager in Atlanta, GA.

The Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. In PSLD, as within all of Caterpillar, our priority is our customers and helping them build a better world. We touch nearly every element of the services value stream from procurement to design and manufacturing to distribution. PSLD is responsible for Aftermarket Parts Distribution of Cat Parts, Integrated Logistics, segment Procurement and the design and manufacture of Wear Components (Undercarriage and GET) and Maintenance Components (Seals, Tubes & Hardware, Hose & Couplings, Fluids and Filters).

Job Summary:

• This Logistics Operations Manager develops, oversees, and strives to maximize the efficiency of the order-fulfillment processes within the distribution center and for the network, supporting end-to-end supply chains.

Additional Info :

• This role is located in Atlanta, GA and does offer relocation

• This role is 1st Shift : Monday-Friday 7am-4pm

• This role has the potential to flex shifts as needed

• This role is 100% on-site with no opportunity for hybrid or remote schedules

• This role requires up to 10% domestic travel

What You Will Do:

• Analyzing and developing logistics plans that affect production, distribution, and inventory specific to area of responsibility.

• Improving logistics processes through process improvement, prioritization, and project planning.

• Develop and guide team to successful realization of annual performance goals and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)

What You Have (Required Skills):

• Accuracy and Attention to Detail : Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.

• Analytical Thinking : Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.

• Decision Making and Critical Thinking : Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

• Problem Solving : Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

Summary Pay Range:

$95,640.00 - $143,520.00
