Finance/Accounting Intern

Position summary: This is an Intern position, typically working 20-24 hours per week. This position will be involved in the daily operations of the Finance Department. This position will be required to help with administrative tasks, accounts payable processing, and other finance related projects as needed. Candidates should be detail oriented and have completed some finance/accounting related coursework.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Prioritizes and plans work activities and uses time efficiently

• Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, monitors own work to ensure quality and applies feedback to improve performance

• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task

• Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel & Outlook a plus

• 10-Key accuracy

• Ability to work independently with some guidance

• Basic Finance/Accounting Coursework preferred

• Knowledge of GAAP a plus
