DUTIES:
Honeywell International, Inc. is seeking an Advanced Software Engineer (.NET Developer) for our Atlanta, GA location. Research and develop novel software solutions to be used to build new features and improvements in the Forge product portfolio. Produce code that will operate in a secure, well-tested, and performant way using coding that meets our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a cloud based micro-services environment. Work in a highly collaborative team environment and be required to actively participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle, including sizing, design, coding, testing, peer review and planning activities. Work with product, engineering and operations teams to understand the requirements and constraints that will shape the design of your solutions. Develop strategies for scaling your solutions beyond the proof of concept phase. Regularly demonstrate progress to stake holders. Technical guidance, mentoring and knowledge sharing in the team.
REQUIREMENTS:
Qualified applicants must have a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of experience in developing enterprise applications in .Net. Must have 5 years of experience with the following: experience as a Software Engineer using an Agile software lifecycle including TDD, pair programming, short release cycles; expert knowledge of OO, DDD, gang of four design patters, enterprise design patterns; experience working on a distributed cloud-based micro-service architecture; and experience designing and developing RESTful APIs. Telecommuting permitted up to two (2) times per week.
OTHER:
Job Site: Atlanta, GA; 40 hours/week; $183,627/year. If offered employment must have legal right to work in U.S. EOE.
