About the role:

As Customer Care Specialist, you are managing our chocolate flows from our Global Distribution Center (Belgium) to third-party as well as intercompany customers all over the world. In this role, you monitor the order to cash process from order processing up to logistics (mainly truck road freight). You act as the customer’s central point of contact within Barry Callebaut to ensure all customer’s needs are met.Additionally, you must be able to work with a fixed-term employment contract for 2 years.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing orders and Supporting the customer from Order to Payment, including all details and needed backup for

  • Monitoring the order to cash process to make sure we deliver in time and in full to our customers

  • Managing transport - mainly truck road freight - and coordinating loadings with warehouse

  • Ensuring that all customer and legal requirements are met

  • Act as customer’s central point of contact within Barry Callebaut and work together with other departments to respond to all the customer’s needs

    About you:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in international trade/ logistics & supply chain

  • 2+ years of experience within a customer service environment (preferably within the manufacturing industry).

  • Fluent in English, spoken and written. Dutch is an auxiliary.

  • IT literate

  • Exceptional customer focus and ability to build relationships.

  • Ability to work effectively as a team player, in a collaborative and supportive manner.

  • Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication.

  • Customer-friendly and service-oriented

  • Used to working in a high volume, fast paced, ever-changing environment.

  • Self-motivated, flexible and able to adapt to change in circumstances.

  • Ability to multitask, priorities and manage time effectively.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Experience in expedition and international logistics is a big plus
