Mowi USA LLC in Arlington, TX seeks a Plant Maintenance Supervisor to manage plant maintenance functions and participate in specialized continuous improvement activities. Oversee industrial equipment networks, electrical and control systems. Ensuring correct engineering procedures are followed. Install, upgrade, modify and support various ongoing processes and projects based on best policies and procedures. Document, recommend and execute engineering SOPs. Evaluate proposals based on a combination of industrial data analysis and troubleshooting results. Diagnose engineering problems and implement custom solutions to become the standard for product lines; eliminating problems associated with specific components or processing procedures. Review relevant project or processing costs in light of the companys fiscal goals. Analyze component parts of fishery initiatives, expansions, and projects to provide cost analysis in relation to prepared budgets. Plan and implement operational projects for new or existing facilities, carrying out continuous improvement plans to increase the efficiency and productivity of operations to meet financial goals, through the incorporation of new technological equipment, mechanical and/or electronic. Provide support to the food safety program and the quality management system, through monitoring of measurement equipment and the proper functioning of mechanical and electronic equipment in accordance with regulatory requirements and food safety standards adopted by the company. Position requires a Bachelors degree or equivalent in Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Alternatively, the employer will accept 5 years of directly related experience in lieu of a Bachelors degree. 2 years of experience must include mechanical or electrical plant systems maintenance, including inventory control, warehouse equipment control, and supervision of industrial plant processes required, as well as experience with plant, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems. Employer will accept 1 additional year of experience towards every year not completed towards the degree requirement. Employer will accept foreign degree equivalent.
