We are excited to announce an opening for a dedicated and compassionate School Counselor to join our Educationally Related Intensive Counseling Services (ERICS) Program. This federally mandated service is a crucial component of our students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), designed to support those with significant social-emotional and/or behavioral needs that impact their ability to benefit from special education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students with IEPs.

• Develop and implement intervention strategies to address social-emotional and behavioral challenges.

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive educational environment.

• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.

• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in School Counseling or a related field.

• Valid CA School Counselor certification.

• Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) REQUIRED.

• Experience working with students with special needs is preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
