Job Title: Carpenter

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team, primarily working on commercial job sites. The role involves finishing jobs in retail spaces, as well as municipal work. Current projects include a church, a municipal building downtown, and the Nemak project. This is an entry-level position with opportunities for training, promotion, and certification in demolition work.

Responsibilities

• Perform finish work such as trim, cabinets, molding, and hanging doors.

• Utilize hand and power tools effectively and safely.

• Complete tasks on commercial job sites including retail and municipal spaces.

• Communicate with insurance claims, customers, and crews as needed.

• Document work progress using phones/iPads and update relevant software.

Essential Skills

• 1-2 years of hands-on construction experience.

• Proficiency with hand and power tools.

• Computer literacy with Microsoft products.

• Strong customer service skills.

• Leadership experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in carpentry, roofing, remodeling, siding, tile, masonry, and demolition.

• Ability to work in various environments including office, warehouse, and field.

Work Environment

You will be working in various environments including our office, warehouse, and in the field. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required. The work hours are from 7am to 5pm, with options for a first shift or a swing shift from Thursday through Sunday.
