Job Duties
Assist in analyzing financial statements, preparing credit presentations, monitoring ongoing financial information and performing loan reviews
Ensure commercial lending functions operate within the regulations and policies of the credit union
Prepare credit presentations utilizing financial statement software and spreadsheets
Research UCC filings, DFI records, credit bureaus, and environmental records
Assist Commercial Lenders by gathering credit information on existing and prospective members
Assist Commercial Lenders with ongoing portfolio monitoring by preparing annual reviews, loan renewals, and monitoring required credit information
Qualifications
Bachelors degree preferred, associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or similar related field, or equivalent experience
2 to 3 years of analyst experience, or related experience, preferred
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows Software
An understanding of accounting concepts and how to apply them to financial statement analysis
Strong reasoning ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in direct, professional contact with a wide variety of people on a daily basis
Able to work effectively with others in a cooperative and collective environment
