Responsibilities*

Provides routine to moderately complex technical lab support for a research staff. Collects, analyzes, and processes laboratory samples. Performs a variety of tests, using both routine and special techniques and methods. Assists in report writing. Work on maintaining mouse colony and performing pre-clinical drug testing in mice. Sets up equipment's and analyzes data. Performs routine lab protocols such as western blotting, PCR, quantitative real-time PCR, and helps maintain mouse colony.

Required Qualifications*

High school diploma or Associate's degree and 1 year of experience.

Desired Qualifications*

Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience.

Background Screening

Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings.
