Hiring Range: $19.64 - $26.28
The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
Responsibilities:
Reviews insurance explanation of benefit reports for accuracy. Routes credit balance accounts for refund processing.
Identifies, reports and resolves payment discrepancies.
Receives insurance and patient payments and posts to correct patient account.
Enters adjustments in EMR system in a timely manner.
Reconciles deposits with payments entered the financial system to ensure accurate account data.
Processes payments according to third party payer rules and regulations using both manual and automated programs
Education, Training & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED or three (3) years relevant experience required. Minimum one (1) year accounts receivable experience, claim posting, or banking preferred.
