We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Facilities Manager to oversee our operations for the Microsoft account in Central Europe. This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of facility management, enhancing operational efficiency, and maintaining a safe and productive environment. This role is 100% remote.

What will you do?

As a Regional Facility Manager, you will be responsible for the operational execution of facility management services for Microsoft Data Centers in 5 countries. You will report directly to the Operations Director EMEA and work closely with various departments within CBRE GWS and Microsoft. Your main responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring consistent execution of facility management services across all Microsoft data center locations in Central Europe

  • Commercially astute to oversee all financial activities associated with running a Sub-region

  • Be responsible for the P&L performance and all associated cost controls for the Sub-Region.

  • Establish and maintain a true partnership with the client’s local leadership.

  • Able to challenge and improve all aspects of cost and performance of the business

  • Demonstrate strategic planning ability

  • Ongoing development of the relationship with client and their teams to ensure full understanding of the clients’ needs, through effective relationship management.

  • Utilising strong communication skills, establish a proactive communication, reporting and working style in line with client requirements.

  • Managing daily operational activities at the locations, including supplier management, coordination of technical services, and facility services

  • Developing and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve the performance of facility management services

  • Leading projects within the Microsoft account and supporting the Operations Director with other projects and tasks.

  • Keeping up with exponential growth in the region by building strong teams and developing talent

The ideal candidate for this role has:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in facility management, real estate or a related field

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in facility management, preferably in a multinational and operational environment

  • Experience in remote management of a strong team

  • Proven track record of talent development

  • Excellent influencing techniques at a senior level and is a strong negotiator and demonstrate excellent networking skills

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders within the organization and the client

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work in a matrix organization

  • A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently and make decisions

  • Fluent English proficiency, both orally and in writing. Proficiency in another European language is a plus.

  • Ability to travel on a regular basis

What do we offer you?

  • Base gross annual salary between €75.000 - €85.000 (incl. 8,33% holiday allowance) .

  • 8.33% Holiday allowance, 25 fixed days of leave, up to 10 days of leave to be purchased and 2 bonus days of leave when not sick for 1 year.
