Purpose of Role

Lead Commercial Operations will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts across the excess business and lead the commercial trade terms process. Including project management across a trade terms transformation project, supporting in developing new tools, systems and policy’s as well as executing annual renewal process. The role will lead the excess business and will be responsible for account management, sales tracking and support with inventory management.

Your Impact

• Own trade terms and contract management across the EMEA region including commercial requests and internal controls

• Partner closely with our finance team to prepare analytical reviews of trade terms across the region, making recommendations and suggestions to management team

• Manage existing yearly terms review process, working with sales on submissions and reviews

• Lead the process transformation project. Managing a multiyear project; upgrading processes, systems and ways of working

• Manage a portfolio of excess account partners, in line with the strategy and building long term partnerships

• Collaborate cross functionally on inventory position - making strategic decisions and action recomendations

• Lead weekly cross-functional meetings across sales, operations and finance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience or Master's degree with 6 years of relevant experience or 12 years of relevant work experience without degree

• Advanced knowledge of MS Office – MS Excel

• Strong analytical skills. Ability to handle and review large amounts of data

• Attentional to detail

• Project Management and able to work cross functionally

• Proven Account Management skills and strong negotiation skills

• Self-starter

• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills

• Ability to set priorities and work effectively under pressure of time

Workplace Location

• Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Amsterdam office.

• Return to Work Designation: Hybrid work (baseline of minimum 2 days a week in-office.

• Travel: IE- 5-10% of the year
