Cooper Lighting Maintenance Technician in Americus, Georgia
Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment throughout the manufacturing site
Provide general production support troubleshooting equipment issues
Handle logic controller programming
Participate in special projects throughout the facility
2+ years experience handling maintenance in a manufacturing/fabrication environment
General knowledge of electrical work including motor, panel and conduit planning and installation; electrical certification a plus
Ability to safely use and operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and equipment used in equipment and building repair/maintenance work
Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job; performing maintenance on equipment will require bending, stooping, and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs; performing facilities maintenance may require climbing a ladder or using a man lift to access plumbing and electrical fixtures
Experience troubleshooting and handling equipment repairs including brake presses, CNC turrets, panel benders, etc.
Proven ability to read electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics and symbol knowledge
Basic electronics and advanced control wiring knowledge along with program logic controller programming and troubleshooting knowledge and experience
